Perform smart system scan is the default scan but I suggest using the Perform full system scan option. The Search for negligible risk entries is also enabled (make sure yours is too). After this select the Next button in the bottom right. After the scan is completed you'll see a screen like this:

As you can see, even somebody like me can accumulate quite a bit over time. Most of these objects are negligible but still I don't want them on my system. That is why I use the Search for negligible risk entries. By default it takes you to the Critical Objects tab but I always jump ovo tho the scan summary tab which is the easiest to use for quickly cleaning your system. It looks like this:

Here you should right click near the checkbox and select "Select All Objects". If you see anything on the list that you wish to keep then simply uncheck that item. After you've gone over the list then select the next button. A confirmation box will pop up and you'll have to click OK if you wish to remove them.
